Logo, Brand Guidelines,  Tradeshow Booth Design & Marketing Materials, and Website Design for Quantumcyte, a biotech startup that has developed a tool for advancing the precision of micro-dissection for pathologists.  

Logo Development

DISCOVERY/RESEARCH

The team at Quantumcyte expressed interest in a logo with clear relevance to the science. They wanted a completely different color palette from their old one (teal & orange). 

The team requested a logo/brand that makes the user think: futuristic, technical, modern, sleek

Ultimately, the main inspiration came from an image that Quantumcyte's technology produced. (The blob of cells to the left.) This provided a baseline for the color palette and the imagery.  

IDEATE/ DESIGN

The early stages: idea dumping, blob exploration, and discovering possible  colors combinations.

EARLY ITERATIONS

Experimented with a few different shapes and colors. Received input from the client and eventually came up with a logo that both the client and I decided embodied the heart and soul of Quantumcyte. 

FINAL DESIGN

Came up with the logo and several variations, including a barebones and monotone variation to use for different print and web content. This logo served as the starting point for the rest of the branding work for Quantumcyte. 

Brand Guidelines

Tradeshow Booth Design/ Marketing Material Design

I created a very basic 3D rendering of the tradeshow booth to visualize the layout of the booth, and selecting rentals within the company budget. This was Quantumcyte's first big tradeshow, so they wanted to keep it very simple.
